Southwest Chicagoland Bitcoiners was started in 2023 to provide a resource for like-minded people to learn, connect, and engage with bitcoin and sound money economics. It doesn’t matter what level you are at in your journey there is something for everyone. Sometimes it just takes a friendly face and someone that can explain things in simple terms.

It is in the self interest of those in power to keep the concepts of money, finance, economics, and bitcoin complicated. Do not let the complexity stop you from learning. Bitcoin is more than just a technology but a philosophy of money; and many other things to many different people. It is a starting point to learn and grow. Once you realize it for what it is, an open door, then you can open your mind to new ideas.
